Inamkulathur, Sept 1: Assalam Islamic College hosted a “Drug-Free Tamil Nadu” awareness rally in Inamkulathur. Flagged off by N.R. Educational Groups Chairman R. Vijayalayan, the event aimed to educate youth and the public on the harms of addiction.

The rally was attended by local mosque leaders, a councillor, social activists, along with the college’s management, faculty, and students. Marching through the area, students carried anti-drug banners and placards while distributing informative pamphlets to residents.

At the concluding session, Alma Lucent School Correspondent Janab Kamaludeen delivered a special address. During the event, special guests urged the state government to completely shut down all alcohol and drug sales outlets. The event was organized and coordinated by College Admin Mr.Mohamad Farooq.
